Stoneware Fuji Kutani Sauce Plate [Mamezara]

These cute plates are Japanese mamezara (tiny plate) and motifs of good luck charms, like Mt. Fuji; the beautiful Japanese mountain that changes with the seasons. With its height and beautiful appearance, this mountain has long been a symbol of Japan. People have also seen a deity in Mt. Fuji, so the mountain has also been a symbol of happiness and good luck. Another motif is the blue bird of happiness as you know well. How lovely if they add a flare to your meal!

This small size is great for presenting food in a Japanese style but can be used for other things as well. A perfect addition to accent your table setting!
